What types of actions?
- In the “Settings” menu
Click on the word “action” for your selected detection here (Noise Detection). - In the next menu, you can give your action a name and choose an “type of actions.”
- The “type of actions” menu offers several types of actions or responses in case of an alert.
Here, we have selected “Beep.” - Back on the previous menu, you now have “Beep” set as the action type, and you can choose which sound you want to be alerted with.
- Don’t forget to confirm by clicking on “Confirm.”
- If you have chosen “Notification” or “Speak,” you will be prompted to enter the text that will alert you or be spoken during an alert.
Local actions or actions on another smartphone?
You can choose to trigger an alert on the device you are using for detection (local mode) or on another device. Having named your devices beforehand will be very helpful—see the relevant section.“Name your smartphone“
- Click on the “Settings” icon.
- In the following example, we have chosen noise detection. Click on “Action.”
- Then, in the next menu, you can give this action a name and also choose the “target” phone, which can be either “local” or another remote device. Click on the “targets” dropdown menu, select your target, and then click “Confirm.”
How to have multiple actions?
- You can have several types of alerts for the same “detection,” in this case, “Noise Detection.”
Click on “Add an action.”
